Recycling cans puts money in your pockets and bank accounts, as you do the Earth a favor by cleaning up. This is a great team project for your youth groups, as you earn money for the activities and supplies you need. Does your youth group want to go on a field trip, or buy supplies for growth?  Stand up and pick up for what you believe in.
A group of teenagers called "Team Marine" worked diligently in their coastal community to ban plastic bags. Their hard work payed off, and now the sealife is safer without plastic shopping bags in their water home to get tangled up in. This is just one example of how you can make a difference.

The hybrid cars that run on battery and gas are a welcome addition to our future. But what if we took extra special care of our cars over the years? The landfills are full of cars that were abandoned, wrecked or just not well cared for. If we take care of them—they will take us where we want to go for years to come. Look at this 1970 Challenger and the tender loving care it obviously receives. It’s almost 40-years-old and still going strong and winning awards. True, it can’t get the gas mileage of the hybrid cars, but this car is part of America's automotive history.
