Keep Parks Clean

Do you like to go camping, hiking or to the beach for a leisurely day of fun? If we all left no trace of our presence, these havens would remain beautiful forever, except in case of natural disaster. I personally have seen the medical waste on U.S. beaches and some beaches closed due to high bacteria count of the water. So, pay close attention to the flags at the beach. They tell you whether the waters are calm, or if dangerous riptides are present. Look for signs that warn us about dangerous bacteria count or excess Jellyfish that sting.
Find a park close to you and enjoy!!

Our U.S. National Park Service has a cool tool called the Kids Zone for information and fun for all ages. You’ll read stories about what children are doing to keep our parks clean and green. Some even share stories about their lives there with parents who work in our parks. http://www.nps.gov/kidszone/
Read about national animal conservation.

"It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again to the earth and in the contemplation of her beauties to know of wonder and humility."
