Thank you for visiting our website and all contributing artists. We hope you learned some tips for living green. The younger we learn some simple lifestyle tips, the easier it is to see how easy it is to be green. My name is Nancy, and I have a BA in Mass Communications. I've worked in the media and with environmental groups like Sierra Club for many years. I was born and raised on a farm and enjoy the simple things in life, like nature walks. If we don't work hard to preserve our natural resources, like the woods, our water supply, and the beauty of our national and state parks--we can't enjoy earth's natural pleasures. Join one of the many groups and pitch in.

We're all in this together! Do you have a hero from history who made discoveries or helped make the world a better place?
Mine is Rachel Carson. She wrote Silent Spring in 1962, and the outcry that followed forced the ban of DDT. She was the beginning of environmental consciousness and brought many changes. I like to think, that my efforts helped to ban the use of Dursban in homes. The effects of these insecticides are wide ranged in humans and animals. I can only hope that you continue research these topics introduced and share with everyone.
